Play- A fork in the path

Just went to watch a play with a couple of my friends. The play "A fork in the path" was confronting death & life and the different beliefs people have in this world.

What do you think about death?

For Christians, death may be painful and heartwrenching, but we have a hope to look forward to. The hope is that we will definately go to heaven, and have the assurance of salvation. We have eternal life to look forward to, with God on the throne.

& what is being a christian? It isnt about being good, for how can anyone say that they are good? I'm a liar, so are you, and you, and you. no one is sinless. No one. no one can profess saying that they have never lied, never stolen- sure, they are white lies, small sins, but they are sins.

Its the faith in Jesus, and believing that he is the only way to God, that is what we have faith in.

Some believe that in life, that its all about being the best you can and earning the most you can. However, isnt that fruitless? earning and spending, earning and spending. what do you achieve at the end of the day? you will sure have lotsa toys at the end of the day, but surely, that is not life.

Looking at the nature around us (just look at the beautiful skies and seas)- In singapore, that might be a tad difficult.), but i'm sure life isnt about having the most up to date handphones and biggest homes u can afford. Man and women and special creation, put on this earth for a reason.

Look at us humans, as compared to animals. We are definately smarter and a lot different from animals, so if you tell me that we evolve from the monkeys, I will say RUBBISH. Honestly, how much smarter are we from them? God created man, to help rule and subue the world responsibly. To tell one that we evolved from a bang, is even more ridiculous. Do u see cars, or rockets, or anything complex coming from a bang? just happened? nonsense. our bodies are so complex, it definately was created.

Dear friends, i think my point is, dont just keep going through your life in the rat race. You may not believe in Jesus, but do try to find out the meaning of life. Jesus is the way i'm asking you to check out. You dont have to believe in order to find out more. Treat it like a history book if u wish, but the bible is such a realiable source of history.
Do aspire to find out, do not live your life like it doesnt matter. It does.
